LongSword Winery June, 8th & 13th

Valley View Winery, June 9th

​A timeless gem in the heart of the Applegate Valley, this winery is steeped in Oregon history. The name dates back to 1854, when Peter Britt founded the original Valley View Vineyard, the first winery in Southern Oregon. Revived over a century later in 1972 by the Wisnovsky family, Valley View became a pioneer in Southern Oregon’s wine industry. Today, the winery remains family owned by 2 brothers, Micheal and Mark. They are committed to crafting high quality, locally grown wines. Guests can enjoy tastings in a relaxed setting overlooking beautiful vineyards and the tranquil Applegate River. With its deep historical roots, scenic charm, and award winning wines, Valley View offers more than just a tasting, it offers a journey through Oregon’s winemaking legacy. Mike Brunson, a winemaker from Sonoma, crafts award winning Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, and Viognier. Enjoy live music, local events, and the warmth of a winery that has helped shape the region’s wine story for over 50 years.

Kingfisher Lavender Farms, June 10th

Kingfisher Lavender Farm invites visitors to immerse themselves in a sensory rich experience. With over 2,500 lavender plants representing 21 varieties, the farm offers a vibrant display of color and fragrance. Guests can enjoy u-cut lavender and fresh cut bouquets from the farm's extensive gardens of annual and perennial flowers. The on-site gift shop features handcrafted products from local artisans, including lavender-infused soaps and jellies. Live watercolor paintings are another feature of the day in this picturesque setting. Allie, another one of our favorite local artists, will have her pottery for sale here. Her morel mugs are legendary, her local and flair with nature is stunning. The farm is open from June through September, Thursday through Sunday, 10 AM to 3 PM, with extended hours during the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail festivals in June and July.

Apple Outlaw Taproom, June 11th
& Applegate Farmers Market

Apple Outlaw has expanded its presence with a new taproom located in the former Applegate Country Club building. This move aims to enhance their local presence and provide a dedicated space for cider enthusiasts to experience their handcrafted offerings. Two brothers, Jonathan & Josh make a wonderful team. Josh brings his chef experience from the East coast where he has been in charge of a variety of restaurants. Perfecty bakes pizzas await you in the outdoor fire oven on Wednesdays before the Applegate Evening Market.

Held every Wednesday evening from May through October, this community gathering offers a delightful mix of local produce, artisanal goods, and live entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a variety of offerings, including fresh fruits and vegetables, handcrafted jewelry, local meats, and baked goods. The market also features food vendors serving diverse cuisines, ensuring there's something for everyone. With live music and a welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect place to connect with neighbors and support local artisans. Don't miss out on this weekly celebration of community and local craftsmanship. *No pets allowed at the market.*

Red Lily Vinyards, June 12th

Red Lily Vineyard is a must visit gem in Oregon’s Applegate Valley. Known for its exceptional Tempranillo wines, this familyowned winery offers stunning riverside views, a welcoming tasting room, and plenty of outdoor seating. Enjoy a picnic by the Applegate River or sip wine under shady oaks. With a relaxed atmosphere and top tier wines, enjoy the best spot on the river, with a sandy beach and heavenly scenery.
